Returned after several years since last visit. Just had breakfast but it did not disappoint! Very good food, nice atmosphere, clean, and very pleasant staff. The old diner look is really cool, and the guitar sink in the mens bathroom is awesome. Definitely coming back soon for supper.

Went on a date, and this was pretty much the only restaurant that was relatively halfway between us.Seated, menus, drinks right away.Decided to try a special. A Taco Burger? I was a little hesitant, but was pleasently surprised when I had my first bite. Devoured the burger, maybe a little too quickly. It was phenomenal.Would highly recommend checking this place out.

I'm a local so my family and I frequently go here for breakfast/supper and lunch. Only reason I'm writing a review is to tell others that if u are in the area alot for work/family/etc is to add their facebook page as they are good for posting the specials of the day.

Went to the Whistle Stop Restaurant in Norquay SK. It was a beautiful restaurant. We came as a group of seven people and although was quite busy they did a great job!I never got to take pictures as I was so hungry but we had deep fried pierogies for appetizers and I had a bacon burger with fries and banana cream pie.She did forget my grandmother's ice cream, but she wasn't mad about it.

Totally love the story behind this warm, family-owned business. Kind and considerate owners and staff, delicious and reasonably affordable meals, portions generous and satiating; they got it all. Definitely the one place I'll miss when not in Norquay anymore.

Make your afternoon better by turning down main and putting it in park at the whistle stop! The soups are always amazing and the burger always delivers. The wait is never long and the staff are always friendly. You won't be disappointed. I never am
